Persimmons, Blueberries, Katsuras
Fuyu Persimmons are the most common type of Persimmon tree grown in the Pacific Northwest because they are beautiful in many ways and the fruit is edible for a pretty wide window of time. The trees grow slowly, and they're not cheap ($35-200 in Portland). If you've got a sunny spot with good soil, why not consider planting a Fuyu Persimmon? It's just an idea. Blueberries cost $10-50 in the city, less in rural areas. Dig a good hole, or hire us to do it!
